The Editor Activity Feed provides a centralised overview of everything happening in your Thrive employee app, allows you to monitor and reply to user comments in real-time, and both moderate and interact with User Generated Posts to your app.

Editor Activity Feed

You can access the Editor Activity Feed using the Pulse icon at the top-right of the CMS, which is your one centralised place to view and manage all app user activity:

The Editor Activity Feed notifies you about, and allows you to take the following actions:

  • When a user likes a content item
  • When a user comments on a content item: You can like or reply to their comment
  • When a user likes a comment or reply made by another user
  • When a user posts a UGC post or thanks another user through Peer Recognition: You can like or reply to their post
  • When a user posts a UGC or Recognition post that requires moderation in the CMS
  • When a user reports a comment as being objectionable and requires admin or editor review

To interact with a notification in the Editor Activity Feed, click on the '3 dots' menu to the right of the notification, as follows:

3 dot menu

When you click on the '3 dots' menu, you will be presented with various options for how you can interact with the notification. In the example above, it's a UGC post to the Team Updates section of this app. So the options are to like the post, to comment on the post, and to open that content and view it in the webapp.

If you were to click on the Comment option, a text box will open and allow you to leave a comment on this UGC post, directly from the Activity Feed:

You will be presented with different options, depending on what kind of notification you are interacting with. But all actions in the Editor Activity Feed are initiated in the same way: by clicking on the 3 dot menu to the right of each notification.

Filter Notifications by Type

If you're looking for specific types of user engagement with your app, you can also use the filtering options to view specific notification types in the Editor Activity Feed.

Simply press the Filter menu towards the top-right of the Activity feed, then tick the notification types you wish to be shown:

Filter Notifications by Date

By default, the Editor Activity Feed will display notifications most-recent first, in real time. However, should you wish to view notifications for a specific time period, you can do so using the Select Date(s) menu, which you will find beside the Filter option:
