Updates to the Thrive CMS - February 2024

We're just getting in touch to let you know about a couple of nice updates that we're making to the Thrive CMS this week. On Thursday 15th February, we'll be releasing an update to the CMS with two additions that you need to know about:

CMS Default Landing Screen

We're changing the default landing screen when opening your Workspace in the CMS. Currently when you open your Workspace in the CMS, you'll land on the Main Menu. We're changing this so that instead, you'll land by default on your app's Homescreen.

You can still edit your Main Menu from the CMS, and you can now access it using the 'Menu' option to the left of the screen. Everything still works the same way - the only thing changing is that you'll land on your Homescreen when opening your CMS Workspace instead of your Main Menu. Here's what that looks like:

Remembering Custom Text Colours

You can currently choose custom colours for your text, but the CMS won't remember them when you add a new text box, or when you come back to the CMS later. After our update this week, that changes!

From this Thursday when you press the word 'Custom' (as shown below) and choose a custom colour, the CMS will remember that colour and allow you to choose it again in future by saving it to the row of custom colours along the bottom. So you'll no longer have to enter the RGB or HEX value every time you want to use a specific colour!
